Lucy Blows is an Interventional Research Fellow at St Thomas' Hospital, London, under the supervision of Simon Redwood. The principal focus of her research is to investigate and describe physiological responses to coronary intervention. This research is being prepared for submission as an MD thesis to the University of London. She commenced her specialist training in cardiology in 1999 having obtained membership of the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) the previous year. Prior to this she graduated from Southampton University in 1995. Dr Blows is a member of the British Cardiac Society and the British Cardiovascular Interventional Society (BCIS) and is an editor for the Interventional Cardiology Monitor Journal.
